Why Seafood Is So Expensive

Seafood has always been expensive, especially caviar and lobster. This is because of supply and demand. Lobsters, for example have traditionally been caught in lobster pots and so only a few were harvested from the sea at any one time, and those were destined for the tables of the rich or for restaurants later.
