Because a healthy body is very important for growing kids, parents should take care to make good foods in the kitchen, the birthplace of all nutrition. Making a great meal for a kid is a precarious balance of healthy and tasty as well as sweet and tolerable. Kids who need as much good stuff from food as they can get can't afford to eat lots of oils or trans fats. These have been known to block effective growth in children.
