Thomas and Friends is a children's television series about the adventures of Thomas, a cheeky tank engine and his friends. Today Thomas the tank engine is enjoyed by children the world over. One of the reason that Thomas and Friends are loved by parents and children the world over is the wholesome nature of Thomas the tank. The engines on Sodor, the mystical island that Thomas inhabits, all have different colors and numbers. Indeed my own son learnt his primary colors and numbers 1 - 10 while watching and playing with Thomas Wooden Railways.
