Aircraft Jets and High Tech Innovative Noise Reduction Solutions

There are some brilliant young minds working on jet noise reduction thanks to NASA's call to help reduce airport community noise, as it's a big challenge. Luckily, aircraft engines are getting quieter over the years. At Penn State the aeronautics teams have some interesting concepts, ideas, and solutions for this problem, specifically tackling the noise of military jets near communities.
